What to do after bed bug treatment
You may still see the odd insect after the first visit. Eggs can hatch later. Aftercare and the booked follow-up are how the job finishes, not a sign that nothing was done.
The first days
Leave monitors or dusts where they were placed. Do not wash treated surfaces unless you are told to. Vacuum only if the technician asked you to.
Laundry and beds
Keep clean linen in sealed bags until the follow-up. Do not bring a spare mattress from another room.
Bites
Itching can continue after insects are gone. That is a skin response, not proof of a new infestation.
Follow-up
Keep the second visit. Cancelling it is the most common reason activity returns.
