Preparing for flea treatment
Fleas live in the carpet and furniture as much as on an animal. Preparation exposes those areas and reduces the number of pupae that hatch after we leave.
Vacuuming
Vacuum floors, edges, sofas and under cushions the day before. Dispose of the contents outside. Then stop vacuuming if the technician asks you to leave the product undisturbed.
Laundry
Wash pet bedding and throws on a hot cycle. Clear the floor so every edge can be treated.
Pets
Speak to your vet about treating animals. A house treatment without a pet plan often fails.
Aftercare
Expect a few new bites as pupae hatch. That is why a second visit or a stated waiting period is normal.
