Why cockroaches appear in clean properties
Cleanliness helps, but it is not a guarantee. Cockroaches need a little food, water and a warm void. They can arrive in a cardboard box, a used appliance or a service duct from next door.
How they arrive
Second-hand furniture, grocery deliveries and holiday luggage are common. In blocks of flats, heating pipes and refuse rooms connect units.
What they use
A drip under a fridge, pet food left out, and a gap behind a cooker are enough. They do not need an obviously dirty kitchen.
What does not work
A scented spray on a worktop kills what you see and drives the rest deeper. You need a product that reaches harbourages.
